Please help

Hi, I am looking at getting a new TV and was wondering whether anyone could give me any advice. I can only get a 37" due to space restrictions and also have a limited budget of £600. I have been looking at the Samsung LE37B550 which sounds great but I can't find an accurate contrast ratio figure, even the samsung website just says "high contrast ratio". The B550 looks very similar to the B551A which claims to have a contrast ratio of 80,000:1. The only difference I can see is that one is black and the other has a rose coloured strip. Does anyone know what the differences are and what the actual contrast ratio of the B550 is? I would be grateful for any help you can give me.
