Ok so I have an LG DU-42px12x plasma display, the crappy part is that it doesn't have an hdmi input/output, but it does support DVI.

I was looking at the Western Digital HD Media Player, which only supports composite and HDMI.(My tv doesn't support HDMI)

So I was wondering, if I got a DVI to HDMI cable to pass the video, from the Western HD player to the TV, then used composite cables to pass the audio to the tv, would it work?

In easier terms, use DVI to HDMI cable for video and use Composite cables for audio, both coming from the Western HD Player to the TV.
And my question is, would it work or be possible?

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

Alright cool, I'm pretty sure it should work.
I found some cheaper DVI HDMI cables at monoprice
