Are you useing Nero to convert your AVI movies to VCD?? If so then you shouldn"t use Nero to Convert the files to VCD because the encoder that Nero uses is Total Crap and Buggy As hell, Nero is mostly only good for Burning Data/Video/Audio to CD/DVD but it sucks at createing the media/Data that you want to burn to disk...You should try useing something like the "MainConcept Encoder" or "Tmpgenc" to convert your AVI File to Mpeg1/VCD or Mpeg2/SVCD and then you can use Nero to Just Burn the Mpeg1/2 VCD/SVCD File to CD-R in (S)VCD Mode, You will get Much better quality this way but you have to do a Little More work....Cheers

What is VCD Maker??? Whatever it is it takes Far too long ,unless it is because you have a Slow PC that I can understand it takeing 22 hours, I suppose if you had a PC that was under 1ghz it could take 22 hours but if you have a Faster PC than that then Try a faster encoder...With the MainConcept encoder On my System takes about 40 minutes for a 2 Hour VCD and I have a 2.53ghz P-4 OC to 2.8ghz...There are Lost of encoders for Makeing VCD"s But there are Very Few Good encoders accept for the Ones I mentioned so maybe you should try one of those.....Cheers

Yes a 2.0ghz PC should be fast enought to encode to VCD in at least real time so it must be the encoder you are useing...Like I said try something like the MainConcept encoder because it is one of the faster encoders arround....

That usually means your source is corrupted.

Better try that download again... ;)
