Hey guys, At the moment, we have a standard Sky Box downstairs, with all channels except Films & Sports. My Mum & Dad have standard Sky Box in their room, just receiving free channels (no subscription), & in my room, I have a standard Sky Box, with a Multi-Room subscription to the channels we receive downstairs. Now, on the dish, our receiver has enough ports to have Sky+. I have the Dual Sky+ wire running into my room, but only 1 wire end is being used for standard Sky. My question is, if I buy a Sky+ Box from eBay (Reputable seller), I obviously have to ask Sky to pair the card up with the new box, but is that all I have to do? & will the monthly fee stay the same (Sky Package downstairs + Multi-Room subscription)?
i think if u have a sky+ box u need 2 feed cables same as sky+hd,cant help with price, firmware might differ between uk and irl.
Yes, I have the Dual Sky+ cable, but at the moment, just one-half is being used to provide a signal to my basic Sky Box. My main query is whether there are any more fees, except the ones already in place (Sky package + Multi-Room).
do a google on sky as they have a lot of info online or if any sat installers near u they might give u some info.
