Right, so for a while I've been using my current install of XP with my new 1TB Hard-drive(I:), and as you know.. Windows after a while gets cloggy and nasty... so i could do with a new Install.

But the thing Is I install all my programs on the (I:) drive and obviously when I re-installed before, some programs still worked and some didn't because of them programs registry info and whatnot being deleted with the re-install.

So i was wondering if there was any tips or program that someone could share that would allow me to keep all my applications running as they are on my (I:) drive while i install a fresh copy on windows on another?

softrescue and laplink pcmover are the only programs I know that can transfer programs (including registry entrys) from one OS to another OS.
