OK weve all heard of that sh*tware pack called antivirus xp 2008, right?
I got the 2009 version.
Ive manually removed most components of it, but I still keep getting viagra ads on every single site i go on, including this one and even kids ones. Plus i get popups, plus 90% of websites im going on arent working.
PLUS ive installed spybot, ad aware, mcafee, norton, kaspersky and more and NONE OF THEM ARE UPDATING?!?!. I cant wipe my PC cos its gonna be too time consuming, so how do I get rid of it? Personally I would hold a knife to the programmer's throat and make him get it off, but since that isnt possible at the moment I need another way.

Also, just found out that my DNS has been hijacked! I kept getting the vimax ads on my mac so I changed the servers on the mac, but dont know how to on the PC... I heard I had to use hijack this for something...

Use your max to download malwarebytes, put it on a cd or flash or whatever, and install it on the virusbox. The DNS server settings are in the same spot as the IP adress settings.
