LINKING EXTERNAL SPEAKERS TO LAPTOP ?

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Trying to connect Samsung R40 plus laptop, MS Media player audio files,via USB>USB cable to Hitachi midi-system speakers. Can this be done? Do I have to follow an idiots guide ? Yes, I know I,m thick.

    moved due to blindness to correct forum as not a shrink issue unless talking about a head shrink then maybe.
