Hi there, I was think of buying this player for my girlfriend and just wanted to know what would be the best format to convert audio. The player has a 64Mb onboard only.
What would be better mp3,WMA etc......

I would suggest mp3. No matter what you hear about how good wma is, mp3 is always more reliable.

MP3. Try LAME encoder using ABR settings around 112-128kbs. For example "--alt preset 128".
