1st blueray burn Unsuccessful

    I have a ( LG GGW-H20L ) and I ripped a blueray to my hard drive (Wanted) with anydvd hd then i used bd rebuilder v0.20.07 (beta) and did the movie only back up on ( highest very slow encoder settings with bd-25 ) it took 10 hours. i have Ffdshow rev610_20061201_clsid.exe and MatroskaSplitter.exe. I also have a brand new machine with a amd quad core etc...running at about 3.2ghz. then i used image burn and created an image file from files/folders and after that was done i wrote the image file to blank 25gb blu-ray disc at 2x. But it wont play on my sony BDP-S350 any idea's?? thanks for all help....

    It does not load when i put it on my computer i have to click on the m2ts file to play it. I burnt it to a ridata bd-r and i just did quantum of solace to a lg bd-re and my blu-ray player keeps saying no photo found when it goes to play it. Its like its not booting the burnt copy right to start the movie, am i missing a step?. I also noticed this when i burn certain dvd's also. but on my dvd's i just use another dvd player and they work fine. im new to the blu-ray burning but learning quick. i like TsMuxer GUI 1.10.1(b) to see if you can get it under 25gb, if not i understand bd rebuilder to compress, its all pretty stratight foward. just gotta figure out whats wrong, trial and error i guess, glad i 1 have a bd-re. I also just updated my blu-ray player to the lastest firmware and still nothing.

    Have you tried the latest ver. 20.0.08 of BD-RB?

    I do not see on the BDR-S350 specs where it plays BD-R format.
    Why not try that disc in some other players....

    The BDP350 suppport BD-R, BD-RE... pretty much all forms of BD blanks.

    When you made your .iso from BD-rebuilder, did you use the UDF-2.5 file system? Did you let BD-rebuilder burn the disc for you... if you did then it does do this for you.

    BTW, if you decide to burn the files yourself you do not need to make an image first, you can just burn the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders together with IMGBurn, make sure you set the UDF2.5 option before you burn... or you'll have a nice shiny collection of $10 coasters!

    Do you guys know of a form that lists the detailed steps for completing this process with the software you've mentioned above? I'm trying to learn how to do the exact same thing..

    Also.. I see you guys have been doing this for a while now.. does this process work with all the movies you've "Backed-up"? Have any of you tested other software that works best or still using BD RB?
