Hiya Peeps.
I want to make a portable version of project64 that opens a rom automatically and enables you to play the game just by clicking on the .exe.
I had a little go with winrar, I made a sfx file and put in the 'start files after extraction' box 'project64.exe game.z64' but it came up with error 'failed to initialize plugins'. I assume that when the .exe was packed it restricted access to the plugins folder.
Does anyone have and ideas on creating the exe another way?
Thanks in advance.

Hi SuperDan8!
I can confirm that your methods is sound - i actually use the same idea myself.
I suspect your problem is down to the plugins you have chosen to use (I just use Jaboo's) - and Make sure you are zipping up the entire Project64 program folder, not just the .EXE...

Hi again SuperDan8!
I should correct my earlier post - I think your problem may be nothing to do with creating .EXEs - i rekon that your graphics card is not good enough, and thats why the plugins fail to initialise...
