Unallocated space with my data on it

    i was wondering if there is anyway of reclaiming the unallocated space without loosing the data in the unallocated space. please help me as soon as possible thanks.

    Any data recovery software can recover the data from the unallocated space. (the free photorec can do it).

    If the partition became unallocated(raw) for no apparent reason, you can try running a chkdsk c: /f on it. (or scandisk with the boxes to fix errors checked). This can usually get the partition to comeback. It has always worked for me.

    The free program testdisk has more indepth tools to recover lost partitions.

    Don't format or create any new partitions until you recover your data.
