    Hi there,
I have a panasonic mini dvd camcorder. I have two mini dvd-rw finialized disks from a recent weekend away. I am now trying to put the 2 disks onto my pc then i want to put them both onto one dvd and make copies.. Which i thought would be simple. I have tried imgburn and it keeps getting a I/O error at 90% interpretation -timeout on logical unit?? I have tried a dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, dvdfab5 but nothing is working.. I keep getting errors. I'm used to this with copyright dvds but i thought with this being a home dvd i wouldn't have a problem.. Am i missing something. Is there an easy way?? I hope so!! I have done this once before on my old computer using nero 7 but when i upgraded to vista nero 7 wasn't compatible. I would like to make more dvds of home movies and edit them, jazz them up a bit so am i best to buy software to do this? If so what would be a good one to go for? Is nero 8/9 any good?
    Thanks for any help :O)

If you can't get the footage onto your PC directly from the DVD have you tried USB or FireWire from cam to PC?

As for the jazzing up you might be better with something like Premiere Elements, Sony Vegas. I'd imagine they cost similar to a full version of Nero 9 - guessing - so if your Nero 7 suits you as is there's little point upping a perfectly adequate app to another that does just the same.

Try downloading demos 1st to see what tickles your fancy!

    All the best!

Try useing DVD Flick. Guide is at the Site.

Check with your User Guide for your Camcorder on How to Connect it to your Computer. There may have been some software that came Packaged with the Corder that will allow you to download the Video files From your Disc to the computer.

Nero 7 Should be Compatible with Vista Because that is what i am using, when I use it. I Can't remember if there was a NERO upgrade to Make it Work with Vista, You could Check at Nero.com That will let you Connect and Download from Your Camcorder.
