Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

dvd software issue

#1 06 May 2009 @ 18:01
I use mac the ripper, tried backing up a dvd and wouldn't allow due to arcoss protection ,,, anybody know a software for mac that takes out that crap?

I have heard mac has protection against this stuff built in it. One possible solution is to run windows on it also to rip and burn dvds and such, and use the mac side for all your other stuff. My brother has a mac and has it split to run the mac side and also has windows on it, works for stuff like this.

has is been proven that the mac side has protection against this?

i have been copying dvds on my mac for almost a year, then all of a sudden when ever i copy i dvd, it freezes when i watch the movie on my mac and it also freezes when i watch it on tv.

any idea as to why it would cause it to freeze on ym mac and on the tv?

thanks
