I need to find or reset the password for a vista computer. I had some software that did this on a disk but it only works for xp.
you didnt build in a backdoor by any chance did you? If not I know an old trick for xp was to go to the log in screen and hit ctrl-alt-delete, then a win2k style login pops up, then you put the username as administrator and password blank. idk if this works on vista, you may have to hit the switch user button even if you only have one user account.
