Today I had a weird thing happening in DVDLab Pro, both in 1.53 and 2.3 versions.

I authored a DVD with the subtitles, and every time a sub appears it also shows a 6 or 8 small characters below the sub and just above the low film border. It's very weird.

The characters look like small black squares with white x o just play small yellow numbers.

I re-authored the film in both versions starting from zero, so it's not that I used anything from each other. So it's not a compatibility problem.

Any idea on what might be happening and what to do about it?

Just for the record. The problem I had was not DVDLab Pro fault.

The files I was using, that came from MKV originals, were not "clean" enough when I converted them.

I had to remux the MKVs again, eliminating any traces of the old subs that were still there.

And the problem was solved. Just in case anyone faces something similar.
