Well, as topic says, this is friggin' annoying.. I usually leave my PC to download stuff while I sleep, and if it happens while I am sleeping.. the downloads get interrupted. Dunno why but my Internet connection cuts down for like 1 second once in a while, and it is annoying beyond words because my ISP says theres nothing wrong in their side.

Well anyway, point is, that unlike in XP, Vista won't reconnect when the connection is back. Even though on bottom right where you see the connection icon, it will claim that it's connected, but it's actually not. The only way to restart the connection is either to boot, or write ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew to command line. Surely this doesn't take long but as I said, if I'm playing something online, or sleeping, it's enough to ruin everything.

    Halpz ? =(

Dissable IP6. Then, set IP4 to a static IP.

Aaand.. how do I do that exactly and will that affect my internet in any way ?

I mean.. I disabled IP6 but what do you mean by setting Ip4 to a static IP ? I'm not really familiar with the terms.
