Ok here is my question. I have succesfully modded my xbox with an xecuter 2.3lite+. I have both slayer 2.5 and the xecuter2 4981 bios on seperate disks and am not sure which one to flash my bios with? I have read that slayers has its own bios, so i am inclined to do everything with slayers becuase of all the other stuff it does for you. Am I making a correct assumption here? I assume slayers will flash my bios and install the evo-x dashboard? Now if I get slayers installed correctly, all i will need to do is get flashfxp going with my PC and I should be good to go?
USe slayers to start. If you want to use 4981(it newer and will patch more games) then get a ap for th xbox called FlashX. 1. make 4981 into a 1 meg file with a bios program 2. puth the new bios in your xbox c; drive in a folder labled bios 3. Install Flashx into your apps folder on your xbox 4. run flashx and use the bios in the bios folder I would not us EVOX flashing it has always failed me. Team Xecuter wrote Flashx for their chips. I have used it many times. Do your homework and you should have no problems.
But I thought you need to flash the bios FIRST, then use slayers autinstall, otherwise the xbox won't be able to read the slayers autoinstall disc. IS this true? Thanks!
