Reducing video size

I'd like to reduce the size of a 6GB movie so that it will fit on a 4.7 Gb disk that can be played on a stand alone dvd player. Is that possible????

 

If the movie has been ripped to the hard drive from the DVD, use DVD Shrink.
'Open Files' then 'Backup'.
Select the output path and if Nero or Imgburn is installed , you may optionally burn the new disk.

Thanks. I'm in the process and it seems to be doing ok. I've got ImgBurn installed but I only got the option to burn with Nero. So, I'm making an iso and will burn the movie. Is there a way to set up the ImgBurn option??
