I'm just wondering if there is anyway to check what time a computer is shut down at. I'm not talking about setting a timer to shut it down but rather to know what time it is shut down at.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Cole

Its a bit technical, not hard to do but maybe hard to follow.

    In Windows right?

You can use the Group Policy Editor to run scripts / batch files / programs at shutdown.

So you write a simple script or batch file that creates a new file, and thus the creation date of the file is when (or as near as darned) the computer last shut down.

Thats the simple version - you can get a whole lot more interesting - myself, I had send an email to me instead with the current time in the subject...

    Regards
    Nick
