    Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron E1705. A few years ago I spilled tea on the keyboard. I replaced the keyboard. A year later it stopped showing any image on it. I could hear the fans running, but nothing happening. Since it was no longer under warranty. I bit the bullet and paid for Dell to fix it. After 400 dollars they replaced the Mobo I beleive. When we started it up at home it worked fine, but every once in a while it would suddenly freeze and needed a restart.

I tried replacing the memory and hard drive. No luck there.

Anyone have any ideas?? Any help would be appreciated.

I would open it up & do a rebuild...cleaning dust off & replacing the thermal compound and pad in the process....but that's just me.
