U*C vans were all over Dunshaughlin Co. Meath like a rash changing Areials and boxes last Sunday morning. Looks like they blitzed every house. Since then no signal on T-box, looks like major hardware change over anyone have any clues on this one??

i think they are changing the system to dvb-c boxes so try to get a lone of a different cable box not for aerial and try that and see does it work

Have they changed your box ??

if so look under it and se if it has ITD 60 on the label anywhere

or have they been changing them for the small pace box

I can confirm that (dunshaughlin) dreambox 500T down, going to connect up a 500c or EV sl1000 & see how that goes, will let you know, but can we assume the following, we need to change symbol rate to the n*l mmds one, freqs will need to be manually entered & scanned ?

yes try the 6875 and do a scan on that you might have to use 8Mhz increments on it start at 322.000 or use 1 of the freq from the old box

Fregusrb called it right, U*C has changed system over to cable boxes. Got back up and running with a loan of a "the box(dvb-c)" also had to rotate the aerial 90' as propagation mode has also been altered(front fin of aerial now vertical). Settings like symbol rate are the same as N*L areas(6.887Msps symbol rate and 64QAM). Missing mov*es and some other stuff but otherwise so far so good.

yep i thought they would go for that option all right so you will now need to use the Kryptview for all channels now

whats the point of moving all these dvb-t setups over to dvb-c ? Unless they cant roll out n2/n3 to the mmds network as it stands?
