dual layer back up

    hi,
    Im not new to burning dvd's but i want to back up a movie but its dvd9 and i haven't done this before. I have a LG external burner which can burn DL's and i bought some DL blanks but to be honest was not the most expensive. I am not sure if i can do a straight copy or not.

    Any advice best way to go would be a great help coz i dont want to just waste disks.
