Hi. I have problems every time I start up my PC. It has been happening for a couple of months now. I just get this flashing white screen. It sounds like it starts OK but you cant see anything, just a white screen. Sometimes it even gets these blue and white or purple and white stripes down it. I have to manually hold in the power button to reboot and this normally fixes it although sometimes I have to do this 2 or 3 times. Once it is going I never have any other problems. The monitor is pretty new so it hopefully shouldn't be that. The rest of the PC is about 4-5 years old. Could it be the graphics card maybe? I have a Nvidia GeForce FX5200 card. I tried to update the driver for it but it said I have the current one. Any ideas?. Thanks.

Sorry but I'm not sure if I have onboard video. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-7VT600. Can you tell from this if I do or not? Thanks. Sorry but I don't know a lot about these things!
