Please help. I tried to convert vcd to dvd, and used EZ Cd creator to burn to dvd. I could play the convertion copy on my PC but not on the regular (household) dvd player. Am I missing something or the process is impossible to do it.

I've done this and found it to work.

Use VCDGear to extract the .DAT files off the VCD and convert them to MPEG using the built in options

Then use TMPGEnc to resample audio to 48 KHz, make sure your video is MPEG1 or MPEG2 and you should be all set to burn again. I think you were getting stuck becuase VCD have a audio freq. of 44 KHz, DVD specs require 48 KHz
