Have you already installed Divx codec? I had a few problems getting it to work yet sometimes it would then I found if I recoded it to Mpeg2 it worked great but then I found ConvertXtoDVD from VSO software which can handle even mkv files so I quit using DVD Maker with any files not in mpeg format. This link has a good tip its the third remark so scroll down http://www.windowsdvdmaker.com/forums/thread/421.aspx if you need more help with this also check the guides posted here on AfterDawn and let me know what works for you.
