NEED HELP PLEASE

I have downloaded a movie (X-MEN) in .mkv format in 4 parts
I have media player classic with community codec pack installed.

The first part works and show the whole time of the movie i.e
1:40:00 but plays only 20 minutes.

The other parts do not work at all.

Also to mention,
the file types of the parts is like 001,002,003 and 004.

Y cant i play the movie
please help!!

Sounds like the movie has been compressed with winrar hence the 001, 002 etc.
Are the files all the same size (apart from the last one)?
Because this is a common feature in winrar which splits the archive into more manageable chunks for uploading.
Try right clicking the 1st file and extract with winrar
Assuming you have winrar installed.

If not that then it could also be a job for HjJoin as its sister program Hjsplit splits files up with the same type of extension!
