I have one , its fine but for one issue . some days it takes 100 attempts to switch it on . its 3 years old . i push the power button annnd.... nothing .. after i sometimes switch it off from all power and reconnect it may - or may not .. light up the green on light and then start . its an exercise in patience to switch it on . once it lights up .. it s all fine any one have any suggestions ?
sounds like a cold solder joint as ran into that problem on my step father's old tandy model 4 computer floppy controller. had to resolder all solder jionts before it will boot on the 1st try instead of the 20th attempt. send it in to be to be checked out & how much it will cost as might be cost effective to buy a new monitor.
ahh .. dry joints .. they are the cause of me not starting to well in the morning as well haha . logical thought tho , i should not forget to check the basics before looking for overly technical answers. thanks for that - i'lll follow that advice first and see where it takes me . thanks again
