PC HELP

    can anyone help when I switch my PC of at the mains at night and switch it back on in the morning the monitor makes a clicking sound and does not come on it only comes on if I remove the power lead then put it back it comes on and works ok but then the same the next day do I need a new monitor it is only 2 years old hope someone can help thankyou

    Can you post some better details like what type of monitor and model number also what model is your pc or is it home built if so what mobo it it. On the other hand I had an older FlatScreen from Dell and once the pc went to sleep I had to reboot to get the screen to work. I was told some capacitor like thing in it was no good and the monitor completely died a few months later.

    hello my pc is a compaq presario s/n cnh 7091nqy and the modle no on the monitor is sr5019uk and I got out of pc world 2 1/2 years ago

    It's gotta be an issue with the switch you are using to turn the power off. Why do you feel the need to disconnect power anyway?

    Hello I allways switch all power of at night as I had an electrical fire two years ago
