add subtitles to dvd and burn it

    hi ppl! sorry if exist a topic like this on the forum but i didné foun it! i would like to know if you can explain to me how to add subtitles to a dvd that i have dowloaded from the pirate bay and the subtitles are in .srt! how do i bur it to see the movie en a dvd reader? sorry again :p

    What format are these file's, I'm assuming avi. This guide work's great to hardcode (permanently show) the sub's: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/adding_subs_to_avi.cfm ConvertXtoDVD isn't free but will encode and softcode (show if you choose) your subtitle's (best one step encoder there is, IMO).

    the file is .avi
    there is no way to do it for free?

    If you want to create a DVD movie with switchable subtitles (assuming the subtitles you have are .srt files) use DVD flick.

    Add the AVI to DVD Flick then 'Edit Title' to add the subtitles.
