    Hi everyone
Just today out of nowhere a green line running vertical from top to bottom of my monitor appear.I believe this is a common error when the cable has some problem but after checking i can't seem to find any.
After that i try to plug it to my laptop to see if is a video card problem but it seem to still appear even on my laptop.
I'm currently using the FLATRON L1750SQ 17'',and it had served me well for 2-3 years. But i really hope this is something that can be fix and i don't have to buy a new monitor because my pocket this month is kinda of tight
Just to be sure,is there anything I'm missing? can this problem be solve alone without buying a new one? I'm really desperate if i have to live with a this kind of monitor

presuming it is a lcd monitor then 1 vertical transistors is screwed up. check to see what the cost would be to fix in comparison to a new monitor.
