ok today some guy gave me this dice LCD tv from SHARP (LC-20AV1U) and he said I can keep it if I fixed it and I'ts really nice and I love it. but he said it went through some kind of power faliure and now all It does is make a clicking noise, I know where the noise is coming from.. theres this electro-magnet thing that when powered it brings a small metal thing to the top of itself causing 2 metal things to touch so I guess it's some kind of switch. anyway the problem is when I turn it on it only stays on for about 1 second
    can anybody help me?

It's a power relay. Sound like you have absolutely no idea what you are doing so let me put it this way. . .

It's 4 years old. Probably not worth what the repair shop would want to fix it. If you feel like investing $50.00 or so in a repair manual, and $100.00 or so in parts, you might get lucky, but then again, you might not.
