About AVG Free 8.0 UPDATES

I use AVG Free 8.0 Anti-Virus(Windows XP SP2).
Its statistics are:

Virus DB: 269.23.2/1392
AVG version: 8.0.238

The problem is that the Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware are out-of-date. I use dial-up modem, so it is very difficult to update them through the main program. Can somebody give me a correct link to download the essential update files for my version of AVG..? So that I can update it from directory(offline). Rather than online...

Thanks for the links, 2oldGeek.

Can I update my current version (i.e. 8.0) with the latest virus definitions from the 2nd link you gave. Rather than installing version 8.5.

Please tell me, so that I start downloading the update .bin file, ASAP.

Why don’t you just get the latest ver. of AVG? To each his own, I guess : )
