i have a new lenovo laptop for work. windows xp. i just installed act 2009 when i did i told it to attach emails to act contacts. now when i type in any microsoft app (ex. word, outlook) the mouse cant highlight text or right click for spelling and edit options. i cant even move the curser around the document with the mouse. does anyone have an explination and or fix for this? thank you.
I don't even know what act 2009 is, but regardless of that, you'd be much better off finding a forum related to the product.
BTW ACT is a contact manager. A salesperson's tool. Sounds like ACT isn't hooked in properly with the Microsoft Office Suite. Windows software (definitely not this forum) would be the best match at AD, but typically, this is not where you'd find people with experience with your application (ACT).
moved to correct forum as not a dvd +/- r for newbies issue. check with software manufacturer for faq for possible resolution of problem.
