alrigt i just read i need an optical cable i probly need a 2meter one but yea the surround has DTS

so will that work???

are they expensive??

prob not. i just called western digital and if the audio codec is DTS the rep informed me that since this is an inexpensive open source device they will PROB NOT EVER provide DTS support. it cost to much for dts and then it would increase the price of the device.

The WDHD TV Player supports DTS only if it's from an AC3 core, other than it most likely won't be able to play the sound.

mmmm... taste like beefjerky

just conect via optical or convert the dts audio to ac3
