    Hey gang,
I have this strange problem when playing blu rays from disk or hard drive. I'm using Powerdvd 9.
It only happens on blu rays that use VC-1. Again, it matters not whether I'm playing from disk or playing from the computer hard drive.
I thought maybe I could just update the VC1 codec but I haven't found a way to do that as of yet.

Any ideas on how to get rid of these green blocks?
Attaching an example - from Despereaux.

    Thanks for your help.

Solved my own problem. I had tried lots of things over the last few months. I hate updating the ATI Catalyst suite because it can be a real PITA. But, since nothing else worked, I went ahead and did the upgrade to the latest ATI drivers. Works fine now. No green blocks or artifacts on VC-1 blu rays.

Hopefully, the ATI upgrade won't screw up any of the rest of my media stuff.
