I'm almost 100% sure my DVD players play DVD-R and such. But for some reason they won't play any of my DVD players. Every computer I have tried, will.

Anyone know the solution? I will note that I am using DeepBurner instead of Nero... which might have something to do with it, though it shouldn't

    Thanks in advance.

You can check the compatability of your DVD player here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php

Also keep in mind that computer DVD players will read all kinds of stuff, including avi's, etc. The fact it will play on a computer doesn't really say much.

I would try Nero out. I believe they offer a free 7 day trial.

    a reply!! woot!

Okay, the process I went through, if I remember correctly, went like this:

Made in Vegas > AVI > TMPGEnc DVD author to make VIDEO and AUDIO files > burned using Deep Burner.

It's been a few months so there is a very good chance I missed a step. I think there might have been something before the TMPGEnc DVD author, but I'm not sure.

    Should this method have worked?

I still haven't used TMPEnc yet, but I think I have an idea how it works. (Where's Oriphus when we need him?)

Do you end up with a VIDEO_TS folder at the end? Does that folder contain several .vob files and one or two of each of .bup and .ifo?
