PS1 and PS2 import and backup games on HD!!!!!

Hi, so here is what i have:

- a fat PAL ps2
- a 80gb HD
- network adapter
- a memory card
- i can use a friends chipped ps2

in a last resort, i could also use my external HD that i use for my pc

So my question is, with these things that i have, will i be able play PS1 and PS2 import games, NTSC and NTSC-J, original or downloaded games=P, without needing to buy anything else? Will ps1 games run from the hd? Could you please tell me exactly what i have to do, because i been googling for a while, and i dont find any complete answers... thank you very much for your help, i really apreciate it!

ive been looking, and i think you cant play ps1 games from the HD right?
but with free mc boot, will i still be able to play other region ps1 games? original and burned ones?

You can play PSX games only if you run an original game , then swap with a backup .
