HELP! utorrent keeps giving me the following error message: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process...


idk what that means or how to fix it.. PLEASE HELP!

Has it opened in some other program, Opera set's itself as the default torrent client and, I think Frostwire too.

That usually is due to an indexing program (Google Desktop, Roxio Media Manager etc.) taking over the uTorrent download folder. Either exclude the folder from the indexing program or disable the indexing program.

If you can not figure out which program is using the folder, try the free Unlocker. After install, right-click the download folder and select Unlocker and it will tell you which process is locking the folder.
