Ive downloaded a dvd burner and it advises to stop DVD43 from running. Doe`s anybody know how to stop DVD43 from running. It is always running. Every time I go to get rid of it, it tells me to shut dvd43 down. Thank you. Jimmy G.
Assuming you are using XP. If you don't want it to run automatically click 'Start' > 'Run' and type 'msconfig' (without the quotes). Select the 'Startup' tab and uncheck the item. Click ok and restart. On reboot a popup will advise you that you have made a change, check the box so that you don't see it again (but if you wonder why DVD43 is not in the TaskBar, this is why). If you want to run DVD43, use the desktop shortcut and close it out on the TaskBar as required.
