Hi I am having a bit of trouble finding the right video editing software to burn my avi files to dvd.I downloaded some movies that are ripped in avi format and I would like to burn them onto dvds But they always end up exceeding the 4.5gb size. They avi movies are about 700mb cd 1 and cd 2.Each clip is about 700mb.I want to be able to burn cd 1 and cd 2 onto 1 dvd.Could you please tell me which program would help me accomplish this successfully?

DVD Flick should do and it's free, this guide really goes into detail but let's you see what everything does: http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html If you want to join your two avi first, AviMux_Gui is free: http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ Install Binary 1.17.8, open the first avi in it and drag the second in. Highlight both by dragging your cursor over them and select generate data. Down below, highlight audio and select start. Only take's a minute. Check single file's first for any constant sync issue that pc doesn't show. One of the two file's is quite often off, any delay in ms will appear to the right, if other than 0, hit start to make a new avi and use that.

You can also merge right in DVD Flick. Add your first part then 'Edit Title'-> Video Sources. You would then 'Add' part 2 there.
