Hi,

I have used DVDdecrypter, DVDshrink to make backup of my DVD's.

DVDdecrypter is unable to detect the destination drive i.e. the DVD writer.

On checking the log, following error is displayed:

"Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded."

Could someone suggest a way to correct this problem - or there is no solution to it.

Thanks.

Use imgburn, which is basically an updated version of dvd decrypter without the ripper.

Also, dvd decrypter hos not been updated in several years. Use either dvdfab decrypter (freeware/payware) or anydvd (trial/payware) to rip your movies.

DVDFab Decrypter v2.9.6.6 is no longer available and so is DVDFab Express v2.9.6.5.

Could you please suggest some other option.
Thanks

I meant to use DVDFab HD Decrypter.

Download it from here:

I agree with Ray. Use DVDFab HD Decrypter and ImgBurn.

You have a virus.
Here's how to remove this rootkit:

Download and run GMER.
http://www.gmer.net/

Then download, install, update and run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Problem solved unless you continue to go places you shouldn't be going.

You got it bro. Searching google with the reason given, led me to imgburn's forum. The author of imgburn said it's a virus/malware with rootkit capabilities.

Even if you're not infected, it's a good idea to have the programs I mentioned on your HDD just in case.
I use Malwarebytes (also known as mbam) regularly.
