Just installed the Release candidate and is running smoothly until my brother wanted to play some games.

I tried downloading the XP driver for the 82915G chipset.. Tried installing but it failed towards the end.

Ran in Windows xp SP2 compat mode but no avail.

In device manager it just uses "Standard VGA adapter".

Anyone give me some advice on how to get this running

    PC:
    Dell Dimension 3100
    Pentium 4 HT 3.00GHz
    2.00Gb RAM
    180gb HDD
    On board Intel 82915G Chipset

You want to game on Intel video? Unless the game is Solitare or Tetris, you are going to be very dissapointed. I checked on the Intel site, and it seems they do not even offer Vista drivers for this ancient thing. However, there are vista drivers available from Dell's site, and they should fix the problem.

Yes, I downloaded some updates for Windows 7 and has fixed the problem..

Funny how 6 years makes everything seem obsolete.

Plays Halo 1 and NFSU1 and 2 so he is happy
