My Sisters Laptop was stolen and when she finally did get it back the Bios was pass-worded so I removed the Bios battery and that let me get a step farther but stops me now asking for a HDD password. If I bought a new HDD will it install and run fine, from what I read the Bios and the HDD are written on with the HDD password and I hate to buy and install a new HDD and have it pass-worded also?
