Can anyone help me figure out what media I have?

I bought some blank DVD's many moons ago. All that remains is a blank cake box with 50 discs on the spindle.

The cover and spindle are blank, the discs are white with a clear hub. On the clear hub there's a series of letters and numbers that Google can't make any sense of and I'm guessing they're just a batch number.

Is there a way for me to find out what kind of discs they are and how would I know if they're printable?

m_Awesome- go online and look for a program called DVD Identifier http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ this will tell you Who makes the disc and pertenant information !!!!! as to whether or not they are printables Your guess not Knowing if they are or were is as good as mine ? suggestion try one and see? - But just guessing is you bought them online in a package with no labeling and it did'nt mention anything in the sales information I would guess they are not printables ! As if they were or are that would be a selling point { something that they would mention} Like I said though that's just my guess based on what you said ? regardless go0d luck my friend !!!!!http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/

If they are 8x they were also sold under the samsung pleomax brand .. pretty good disks... shame the samsung 16x versions are moser .. grrrrrr
