how can i check if a digivox is flashed right

    just bought a digivox off a guy in wales he bought it thinkin he could use it there he said it was flashed with the latest software but i was wondering if theres any menu i can go into to see if its the right one

    go to Main menu, then System info, then press 1004 on your remote, should then enter Nagravision menu(turn emu on/off is one option in there).
    If you cannot get into this menu it is not flashed!

    silver digivox v4300 current version,to check menu-system info-ok v???

    simple test scan your box in turn on the emu if the latest firmware is on it the box will update if not it will need firmware on it

    or go to the menu system info and put the info on here

    also state weather the digivox is a black xl box or the old silver one

    its a silver one with 2008 digital terresterial reciever wrote on the front of the box havent got the aerial up doin it the weekend so cant test it but did plug it into the telly and turn it on and was able to turn the emu on/off as tomhick02 said

    ok aerial as on roof? are u on c****s mmds? does ur box say digivoxT?

    terrestial boxes use different firmware not as was said earlier,v3300 for t box.

    cheers mate i just have to get a null modem cable with the usb connection because my old laptop has xp but the connection is different than the one for the digivox

    or get a usb to serial adaptor and load the drivers for it!, loads of people having trouble with lappys and vista, but i never had any probs! As cactikid said, check system info, version should be V33000, if it is, it will work fine!

    i checked its different, is it hard with vista i didn try because the way some people are goin on about it, it seems harder to do than craic the ntl encryption lol

    if u know someone with xp and com port u could put the firmware and loader on to a flash drive and use it with null modem cable,as everyone says vista sucks for flashing.

    ya thats what i may do was lookin forward to gettin it going this weekend one of the lads in work has xp with the com port il no monday thanks anyway
