I need help I have a version 1.0 xbox with a xecuter 2.2 lite installed with a pogo pin adaptor. I origanally had it installed cromwell loaded up and i think i put a bios on it that wanst right for my xbox so i ordered a programer and flashed it with the evox m7 bios and now it starts up but where it says microsoft under the xbox symbol nothing appears there and it says my xbox needs service. i dont understand what im doing wrong. cromwell came up just fine at first and now nothing, PLEASE HELP!!!
make a evolution x boot disk, shove it in your xbox and it should load, then ftp the dashboard to your xbox hdd.
But there is no bios loading. shouldnt ti say somthing where it would normally say microsoft? and i tried an evox boot disk it wouldnt run my x-box is a v. 1.0 and i used memorex dvd+r for a disk? any suggestions?
the evox m7 will not display anything under the X like the xecuter bios does. That is why I ALWAYS tell people and cannot stress enough that they should use a color mod bios. If you did that then you would know for sure if the bios is loading. Download xbtool, and change the color of the X logo to a different color, then re-flash your chip. Boot up the xbox and see what happens.
ok the mod chip works but i cant get anything to run no evox and no boxplorer. the xbox will not boot when the chip is turn off. i have to unplug the the chip to get the xbox to run normally. it seems that the chip is working. when the chip is on the color mod works. what am i doing wrong? someone please help!
