my computer got a virus so i had to get a new windows operating system because i lost my key, i'm trying to load vista but i keep getting an error like 4 or 5% into the expanding files part, i'm sure my computer has all the right requirments for vista, plus its only the 32 bit one. It tells me that i need to disable bios mempry options such as caching or shadowing.

were you able to format your hard drive before that error? You can also enter your bios by pressing delete or f1 or f2 at boot up once in the bios look for caching or shadowing and disable them.
