Hi, any help appreciated, have an ndsi, the touch screen works fine except for an area about 2cm x 1cm right in the middle! Any ideas would be great, thanks.

    1. Try calibration.

    2. it's new, it's under warranty. Return to Nintendo.

Thanks for suggestion, when i try to calibrate, same thing happens...on the third stage of calibration when red calibration box moves to centre of screen and you touch it nothing happens?? It seems that this area which is exactly in middle of screen is just dead, googled my tits off???????

Why are you even trying to fix it yourself?

Because i'm a gaming console technician however nintendo is a new area for me and as yet i have not learned their common problems, i just thought someone may have a quick fix idea...seems i'll have to try changing screen out of chance and if no luck begin to test mb. thanks for your input, much appreciated.

It's single point capacitive touch screen.

Dead spots happen, and typically can't be repaired.
