Is there a new box that will work in Dublin?

A guy I work with says that there is a new box that will work in dublin the way my starview box used to.

Is this true and if so does anybody know where I could find one for reasonable money?

Apologies if this topic has been done to death already but I really miss my tv!

The kryptview or the IT Gate will work, but for how long is anyone's guess !!!! About 150 each.

i suggest you pick a well supported cable box the kryptview has been the first out with any fixes both here and the Uk first every time

 

Hey all i was wondering whats the the story with starview the box in dublin are they useless now i have two o them both have most channels but no sky sports not too bothered at the mo cos the football seasons over but il buy a new one if i have to kryptview ssems to be the most reccomended could someone pm some info where to get one around the city centre

ok well then you are fecked so as they are only fixing the super usb one sorry

 

Best thing you can do is wait and see, two days ago you would have been told all the starviews were doorstops, hang on to your box for now

 

starview will not be fixing them other ones i have been told and i doubt if anybody else will as they wil not have access to the source code which on this occasion is needed as its not just a patch like all the other times

but hang on if you want i am just relaying what i have been told

I'm still crossing my fingers on the non usb Starviews! LOL. What about the (black in colour) Eurovox Max V aswell? Are these capable of utilizing the source code or were they just patches aswell?

Failing the older Starviews and the above mentioned Eurovox, where can I pick up the Starview 4 USB box and get back to getting every channel there is? I'm in Waterford, Ireland Chorus/NTL land by the way, thanks.

ah well il hang on to my starviews for the mo an wait til the football season starts back to get a new box ya never know what will happen between now an then...once i can watch liverpool winnin the league next season i dont care,

 

i think you have a better chance of liverpool winning the league before a fix will be done lol not that they will win lol

 

you are best of getting a supported box against any other box but that is up to you Krytview is the only box that has been fixed on all occasions both in the Uk and Ireland first each time so what does that tell you

 

It tells me that if Kryptview works on Nagra 3 it's happy days so fingers crossed!

Just a taught for anybody who is on Nthell ireland network.

If you know anybody on the ch***s network and they have a starview usb 4 box they may be interested in temporarily swapping with you.

As all types of boxes are still working on the ch***s network while there are currently only 3 boxes working on the Nhell network with two currently out of stock (krytview & itgate).

My mate is on ch***s and he has swapped with my dad for the older starview so they now both can enjoy all the channels.

You will just have to set up the boxes for the different frequencies and codes for your area.

 

anybody out there getting rid of box t /eurovox tx/or digibox t a friend of mine is willing to buy second hand,doesent want to spend too much in case all goes belly up Living in kerry (ch***s mmds .)
