hi this is my 3rd nano, and they all have the same problem which is they're unable to fill music all the way, they have to leave 100-200mb. for example my 16gb version has 15.04 of space, so when i put 15.04 worth of music on itune, the software automatically assume that it has not enough space to hold such and such songs. so they automatically omit some of songs off the chart. my question why cannot the player hold the songs to max without a single gigabyte saved?

The way you worded your question kinda of threw me but I think I got the jist of what you were asking. The reason your 16Gb iPod can't use all 16Gb is that some of those Gb's are used in formatting and some are used for the iPod Operating System. So after the iPod's memory is formatted and the OS installed you may lose a GB or two, and that would be why you can never fill all 16Gb.
